We got up close and personal with a wolf, moose, elk, musk ox, black and brown (grizzley) bears. We got unbelievably close to a grizzley that lunged out of the water playing with a stick then came and had a close look at the viewing public. We'll never get (I hope) so close to a bear ever again.
We took the 2 1/2 mile long, single lane tunnel to Whittier. Then we boarded the Star Princess.
We toured the ship to find all the bars and eateries. Then had a very nice dinner in the main dining room. Instead of a show we had cheese, bickies and wine on our balcony overlooking Prince William Sound.
