Bohinj Lake

 I had organised a tour today to Bohinj lake and it was cancelled. Decided to brave it on our own. Stood in the bus line but the bus was full just before six girls in front of us. As we queued to wait another hour for the next bus a taxi van appeared and we negotiated with the girls - ultra marathon runners from Finland - in front of us to share the trip to Bohinj Lakes. 

Our first day of rain which is pretty good since it rains in Bled 220 days a year! Yesterday we were prepared for any weather but it was beautiful and sunny despite the forecast. Today we dispensed with jumpers and raincoats and just took umbrellas and it was a mistake! Luckily I took my down vest!

Dinner at the Art Cafe. My first Aperol Spritz of the trip and it was good. Great prawn risotto and Hamburger.
