Walked around Milan to the Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Castello Sforzesco, Parco Sempione, Arco Della Pace and Gardino Indro Montanelli.

Took Rosie, lovely lady we commiserated with at the apartments with us to Portabello Restaurant and had a wonderful dinner. We didn’t book and were fortunate enough to get a table because we arrived right on 7pm. By the time we left there was a queue to get in at the door. Lovely risotto, mussels and carbonara.
We are leaving in the morning for Varenna a few days early as we were lucky enough to get our apartment early.
