In the States (being the land of the free etc) every electrical and phone company that supplies an area has separate wires. Resulting in a huge number of wires on poles - some are very low.
New Hampshire’s state motto is “Live free or die”. On every number plate. Glad we are passing through!
We are going back roads across Maine Route 2, 26, 219, 133, 202, 3 and 1 to Acadia NP. Perfect as new roads most of the way.
Tiny town in Maine with about 20 people flying American flags at their letterbox and the church! (No flag protocol here) Notice the number of power lines. We’ve seen at least 200 flags so far.
