Day 34 - London - 19 June

Weather still fine and 21 degrees.  Took the tube to The Embankment then walked over the Jubilee Bridge to see the London Eye:
Along southbank to the Tate Modern for a few hours where I discovered I am a heathen.
 I liked this one:
This guy made a mistake and tried to scrub it out: (Ronnie likes it)
 I like Matisse's Reclining Nude:
 This was cute:
This guy couldn't think what to do with the rubbish in his garden shed:
This is called "waiting" by Lucio Fontana. 1960.  I think maybe "Waiting for inspiration" OR more likely "Fed Up"?
We walked across the Millennium Bridge:

Then adjourned to the British Museum:
 Marine Clock:
 Lewis Chess Set:

The guy who dug them up on a beach in 1831 thought they were bad faeries and would curse him so he threw them away or so someone said. They are probably originally from Norway in AD 1150 made from walrus tusks.

Warm enough for ice cream at the British museum!

Dinner at Balfour's Italian Restaurant.
