Day 35-Great Falls-5 Aug

Great Falls has hydro electricity that required 5 dams along the Missouri River and consumed most of the falls along the river. One remaining is The Rainbow Falls:

Where two national parks rangers Darian and Melissa showed us how to load and shoot a musket: 

And showed us how to start a fire from Flint and steel and from two pieces of wood: 

Giant Springs - the worlds largest freshwater Spring which discharges 6.9 million m3 of water a second! Into the worlds shortest river - the Row River:

Head Smashed Buffalo Jump a world heritage historical site. Where Indians used to chase Bison over the cliff. They did this for 5,700 years in this same place, even before they had horses.

Dropped the others at Regency Suites Hitel in Calgary city centre and dropped the car at the airport. Caught the shuttle bus Bach - door to door. Researched some restaurants and chose Mint Leaf Vietnamese and who should we find already eating there? Sandra and Paul! What a coincidence. Very nice meal.
