This is a typical US post box. They put the red flag up when they want the postman to pick up letters they want to post. Whereas in Australia (mostly in the country where driveways are long) the postman puts the flag up when he delivers mail.
University of Vermont Willliam’s Hall building. The abbreviation for the university is UVM which is Latin-Universitas Viridis Montis-for University Green Mountains).
Jackie and Rich took us out on a yacht to see Lake Champlain from a different perspective. It is called “The Friendship”. It’s a gaff rigged sloop. It was built in 1989 and is one of 20. 
Juniper Island has its own lighthouse that has been restored. It and the island is owned by a local family, who, due to indecision by the Vermont and New York governments, don’t pay tax.
