One of us (not me) went to the domestic airport first. One of us (not me) fell off the travellator at the airport but bandaids saved the day!
Had lunch at Soul Origin after passport control but before security. Arrived in Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon, as the locals prefer to call it, after an 8 1/2 hr flight. Got a good rate on VND at the citibank ATM just outside customs at the airport.
Very grateful for a private transfer to Bao Minh hotel. Trip advisor says it’s a 2 min walk from the airport but at 10pm at night in 29*C heat we were very thankful not to have to negotiate traffic and windy, narrow roads.
