Mamut shuttle from Bled to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Ljubljana is 17* today and raining (there are info signs everywhere advertising the weather).
No river boat rides today as the river is flooded and muddy and moving swiftly.
Butcher’s bridge - because there were going to be butcher shops on it but they moved them to the market buildings on either side and turned this into a lovers padlock bridge.

This is just weird. This roundabout indicates todays weather. There is a sprinkler above it which when it is on (now) tells you that in Ljubljana today it is going to rain! Street corner decoration hanging from a downpipe.
University building was once Tito’s holiday residence: University grounds. The vine is planted to the right and just the branches and leaves decorate the front of the building.
The Castle:
Caught the funicular up to the Castle. The trrrace at the top was closed but we could go up to the second from the top level and see the view through windows.
Triple bridge:
The yellow church is Church of St. James and monastry was built by Jesuits between 1613 and 1615
Castle walls:
Stairs to tower: Prison cell used in medieval times and in first and second world wars. Heart breakingly real.
Castle Chapel: In the Castle Museum the oldest wooden wheel with an axle in the world from Ljubljana Marsh belonged to a 2 wheel cart around 3200 BC.
